This beautiful boy was born in late November and returned to us, his breeders, by a heartbroken owner whose family circumstances did not allow her to keep him. He is not only show-stoppingly handsome, but also extremely friendly, smart, playful and affectionate. We are seeking a perfect placement so this wonderful young dog will have the forever home he deserves.
"King" is a neutered male Cavapoo, just under 15 pounds. He loves to play and romp in our large fenced yard and gets along well with children and other dogs. At night, he is happy to snuggle on the couch and watch tv. He knows a couple of basic commands and is house trained, although he will need reinforcement when going to a new home, as would any dog going into a new situation. He is current on worming and vaccinations, including rabies, and is receiving monthly heartworm prevention. He is healthy, has been under routine vet care and will be sold with a health guarantee. He is active and alert but is not nervous or a barker.
Cavapoos are a hybrid, or designer mix, an intentional cross between two purebreds to combine desired traits of both breeds. King's dam is a ruby Cavalier King Charles Spaniel (of champ lines) and his sire is a cream and apricot mini Poodle. It is thought that hybrids are more robust than their purebred counterparts and less prone to breed-specific genetic problems. Cavapoos are increasingly popular and sought after due to their wonderful temperaments and great suitability as companion dogs. They are low to no-shedding.
